Who's behind EmpiFlow
A focused application of a long apprenticeship in operations — the theory of how production should flow, and the lived reality of how it actually does.
Our story
EmpiFlow is a new company, and that's deliberate. It's the focused application of years spent understanding how factories really run — from the inside.
Our founder taught Operations Management at a Malaysian university, and has advised and worked inside semiconductor, food manufacturing, distribution warehousing, and automated order-picking operations. That mix — the theory of how production should flow, and the reality of how it actually does — is exactly what it takes to digitize a plant well.
We believe a digital system is only as good as its understanding of the real one. So we start by understanding yours.
"At the macro level, every plant looks the same. It's at the micro level — the small rules and exceptions of your operation — that each one becomes unique. Technology has to be built from that reality, guided by real data and real decisions."
What we stand for
We've been on the floor
We know the pain of a plant stuck between paper-and-spreadsheets and full automation — because we have worked inside production systems, not just read about them.
We respect the nuance
At the macro level every plant looks the same. At the micro level, your operating rules and exceptions make it unique. That is what we design around.
We build from evidence
Technology must be derived from empirical data and guided by real KPIs and decisions — not from a feature list someone wanted to sell.
The founder
A small, senior practice — focused by design, not trying to be everything to everyone.

Founder, EmpiFlow
Former Operations Management instructor with hands-on experience across semiconductor, food manufacturing, distribution warehousing, and automated order-picking. Specialises in digitizing non-discrete production from the empirical reality of the floor up.
Our first client
A food manufacturer in Malaysia
We're building EmpiFlow deliberately — taking on work where our understanding of non-discrete production genuinely moves the needle, rather than chasing volume. Our first engagement is with a food manufacturing operation in Malaysia.
